Hair monster!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

ok, i brush ny hair alot! then, 1 hour later, it is frizzy! it looks like a monster ate my head!( i was being sarcastic about the monster) how do you controll frizzy hair?

Hair monster!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

use frizz control solution!!

Hair monster!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

try not to brush it as much.

you should also try a detangler that you spray on your hair after a shower... that kind =P

i tried it and it worked pretty good.

good look with your monsterous hair ;]

What treatment should i do with my hair??? relax or rebond???

my hair is not curly or wavy. but its very thick. my husband and i want it long so i need to take care of it to look good. so i relax it to somehow minimize the thickness and it does! my hair looks great and shiny and bouncy. it lasted about 8 months. when my hair got thick again i decided to return it to the salon where it was first treated. but this time the result was not good unlike the first one. some parts of my scalp was kinda like burnt. and everyday when i brush my hair after washing it lots of hair falls. but still it minimize the thickness. the salon said that the solution they used is not like the first solution that they used when they first treated it. after five months my hair is not that thick but its dry. and i wanted to treat my hair again to look good again. the salon said they no longer use the first solution so if i get back i might get my hair burnt again. my friends told me to get a rebond coz my hair is already damaged. but im confused...

What treatment should i do with my hair??? relax or rebond???

Relaxing is usually a thiro or a sodium hydroxide based solution. You need to find out which one was used on your hair. Call and ask...be certain.

Then I would consider the re-bonding - I have seen better results from it because "most" people that do it are trained more extensively. Make sure they know which relaxer was used on your hair previously because most times they will not apply this to your hair if it has been chemically processed with other relaxing solutions as your hair could take a turn for the worst.

Re-bonding is relaxing/Japanese hair straightening

In essence it is the same idea

I have curly hair, but I straight permed it. I don't want to keep it straight can i curly perm

Four months ago I straightened my hair using the Japanese method. I have really curly natural hair so my roots are curly now, and I have to straighten them everyday with a ceramic straightener, or blow dry my hair using a round brush. I don't want to be stuck straightening my hair until the part I straitened grows out, so can i curly perm it?

I have curly hair, but I straight permed it. I don't want to keep it straight can i curly perm it again?

perming is a bad idea in general. It ruins your hair. Try getting a non damaging str8tner, some products from damaged hair and some oils. Then you can straighten ur hair or curl ur hair like evry day or a mixture of both

choose a best answer?

hope i helped

I have curly hair, but I straight permed it. I don't want to keep it straight can i curly perm it again?

you are going to kill your hair. talk to your hair dresser.

I have curly hair, but I straight permed it. I don't want to keep it straight can i curly perm it again?

yeah im sure that u can.. :)

I have curly hair, but I straight permed it. I don't want to keep it straight can i curly perm it again?

Sure you can. But i wouldn't i would get it straighted with the japenese method again. Because then if you perm it again your hair will be totally dried out!!!

Good luck!

Blakely

I have curly hair, but I straight permed it. I don't want to keep it straight can i curly perm it again?

I don't see why you can't.

I have curly hair, but I straight permed it. I don't want to keep it straight can i curly perm it again?

My mom did it, so you can.

I'm loseing my hair?

Hey everyone I am loseing my hair. I just took a bath and had a wad of atleast 50 stands floatin in my water. Then dried my hair and it was all over my towel. I also lose hair when i comb or brush my hair. Is this normal?

I'm loseing my hair?

It is perfectly normal to lose some strands of hair everyday. 40-50 strands a day is normal. Dieting leads to hair loss, so if you have been dieting that could be it. Seafood is excellent for hair, so if you enjoy fish, eat it regularly.

Some anxiety/psychological disorders can lead to hair loss, as well.

If you dyed your hair the chemicals in hair dye can also make your hair fall out. Please use an ammonia and peroxide-free brand when dying your hair.

I'm loseing my hair?

every once in a while like 3 times a year. I go through a major hair loss ordeal. I think it has something to do with hormones. I am not bald lol so idk

I'm loseing my hair?

Yes, you are getting older so you need newer strands. while they are coming off they are growning so you probably wont have this problem for long

I'm loseing my hair?

It depends what age you are, because typically hair loss begins between 12 and 40, so this seems pretty normal. However, if you are losing this much hair daily and are seeing that your hair is becoming noticeably thinner, you should probably see a doctor. You might have a disorder of some kind.

I'm loseing my hair?

I have just run into a great product for hair loss. It is called thermal fusion. It is all natural, botanicals. It stimulates hair growth. It takes about 8 months for someone who has significant balding to see results. However, for someone who has thinning hair, the results tend to be more like 2 weeks to a month. My aunt and my mom both had this problem when they reached 50s. They both use the product and have seen huge improvement. If you are interested I can email you the product full name and tell you where we got it.

Hope this helps!

Hair Shedding?

I'm a guy, and when i brush my hair i'll look in the sink and they'll be lots of strands of hair! is this normal for the summer??

Hair Shedding?

It is normal for people to loose approx. 100 hairs a day. Stress can increase this loss. If you do not have a lot of stress, take a look at your old family photos and see if baldness runs in your family.

Hair Shedding?

OH NO! UR GOING BALD! j/k

maybe it's the type of shampoo ur using. try infusium or something. it helps hair grow faster

Hair Shedding?

its normal, if you ahve been out in the sun too long then its peeling and hair is coming out too

or its just the shampoo..

you can get redken shampoo from the hair salon and you should be good.

Teenager hair loss?

i am 16 and i lose hair only from my bangs, the rest of my hair is preatty thick , but my bangs are really thin. Why is this , what can i do to stop the hair loss? i dont brush my hair violently

Teenager hair loss?

Apply protein treatments on your scalp twice a week to prevent hair loss. Meanhile, eat plenty of fish. Minimize hair washing to no more than twice a week for now until the hair loss has lessen. Read the label on your shampoo. Ensure its alchohol and perfume free. These can cause hair to dry thus hair lost occurs.

Teenager hair loss?

Eat more protein and soy products will make your hair fall out too.

Get tested for thyroid problems.

Teenager hair loss?

Its possible you may have Alapecia Araeta which is a condition that can happen at any age due to stress.

Teenager hair loss?

You have WAY too much stress in your life as a teen and you should learn to soften it out a bit. You may think your used to it, but the stress can overcome you.

Teenager hair loss?

HAIR STRAIGHTEN ING.

and repeatedly pulling on yr bangs.

go to the hair peopel and they will tell you hos ot stop it

Teenager hair loss?

It could be a lot of things. Not eating a healthy diet, extreme or sudden weight loss, or maybe your thyroid or other hormone deficiencies, or alopecia. I'd tell your parents and schedule a doctor's appointment. Sometimes its as simple as a blood test to know what's causing it and you'll be on your way to fixing the problem. Good luck!

FRIZZY UGLY UNCONTROLABLE MESSY HAIR! I need help please!!?

Ok, I have really ugly hair. It makes me feel really ugly all the time, and sometimes I dont even wanna go out because of it [and because of my rosacea]. I hate going to college and seeing all the other girls with lovely hair it makes me want to scream.

So does anyone have any help? I got some GHD's last chritsmas, and i thought they would help a lot. I can get my hair looking nice, but it only stays looking nice for hardly any time, and if i walk to college by the time im there it is just a disgrace.

It always looks like it hasnt been brushed, which is a nuisence because i dont want people to get the impression that i dont brush my hair! It is always really frizzy, and i tried getting it cut shorter but that didnt work either, so now its shoulder length and just a uncontrollable mess.

Any products you would suggest? Or any ideas? please!!!!

Thanks!!

FRIZZY UGLY UNCONTROLABLE MESSY HAIR! I need help please!!?

well having a pair of ghds means you are half way there

wash your hair as normal

condition, leaving the conditioner on for 4-5 mins wrapped in a towel

rinse

and let air dry or blow dry

tie the top section of your hair up in a high ponytail,

straighten from the roots all the way round

and smear the TINIEST bit of FUDGE shaper on your hands and pull through your hair

then let down the pony and do the same

straighten and fudge

your hair will stay frizz free for 24 hrs plus

100%

i have this kind of hair too, and its dry because i dye it

this works for me, and the next day a quick run over with the straighteners does me fine

in fact each day until i wash it again,

i wash my hair twice a week, any more takes the oils out of it

fudge shaper is about 鎷? a tub, i have hair way down my back and a tub lasts me 9 months

try it

FRIZZY UGLY UNCONTROLABLE MESSY HAIR! I need help please!!?

Use a frizz control shampoo/conditioner.

Or a serum when you dry/straighten your hair.

Everyone's hair is different; some girls' hair is straight, others wavy, frizzy or whatever.

You shouldn't envy people. And you shouldn't think you're ugly just because of your hair.

FRIZZY UGLY UNCONTROLABLE MESSY HAIR! I need help please!!?

I have frizzy hair as well, and my hair was always uncontrollable until I got john freida frizz ease hair serum. It works really well, and if you use a blowdryer or straightener it also protects it from heat damage. Getting your hair cut shorter is definitely a bad thing. When your hair grows is straightens, and becomes less frizzy. A good cut for you would be a long layered cut. I hope this helps.

FRIZZY UGLY UNCONTROLABLE MESSY HAIR! I need help please!!?

When yo take showers, after you should apply the Ease-frizz product, which is number 1 now, my hair is not frizzy at all, but I still use it for fun..lol.. it makes it soft and shiny and smells good too!! try it:)

FRIZZY UGLY UNCONTROLABLE MESSY HAIR! I need help please!!?

Go to a salon and get your hair chemically relaxed. I know people who do that and it helps a lot.

FRIZZY UGLY UNCONTROLABLE MESSY HAIR! I need help please!!?

I have super frizzy hair also. and I use frizz-ease and it works really well. Try not washing your hair everyday, it will help from drying it out even more. Or buy a straighten, it helps my hair look great and it doesnt frizz. I have wet 2 straight by revlon. Good luck!

FRIZZY UGLY UNCONTROLABLE MESSY HAIR! I need help please!!?

you need to try www.biolustreflorida.com products, especially their shampoo, it has the instant repair stuff in it and you need to use it for about a month. you will see a difference, it will calm your hair down. take a look.

Grooming question for matted dog hair?

I have a 1 year old cocker and no matter how often I brush her hair, she will get it matted up in no time again, especially her armpits. What is the easiest way to brush out mats without hurting her? I always feel terrible brushing and pulling even though I try to be gentle.

Grooming question for matted dog hair?

You can also have your groomer keep the hair in problem areas just a bit shorter. Or you can do it yourself, if you groom your own pooch. If she's not fighting arctic temps, slightly shorter armpit fur won't hurt her....the french might not agree... but that's a different story...

Grooming question for matted dog hair?

Get some of the detangling spritz at the store, I find the childrens brand works best

Grooming question for matted dog hair?

Use a conditioner after shampooing. Works for dogs, too.

Grooming question for matted dog hair?

I opinon would be to shave her and then as it grows back brush her and reward her then when ever you go to brush her she won't give you any problems. Some dogs look good shaved if her hair is still easily tangled keep she shaved.

Grooming question for matted dog hair?

i have a border collie mix and i have the same trouble, i use something called, Deodorizing Spritz with Skin and coat conditioners, it's a product from earthbath, a dog grooming product. i highly recommend it, it makes your dog smell good too. you can probably find it at your local pet store :)

How can I curl my hair without using curlers?

When I usually wash my hair, I don't bother straightening it or curling it before I go to bed, So I just leave it natural. But when I wake up in the morning, and brush my hair its in such a state but im in such a rush I don't have time to use curler/straightener on my hair.

So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to curl hair [since it would be impossible straightening hair without a straightner] quickly? Not using a curler?

I have tryed before now plaiting my hair into little braids and sleeping in them but when I took them out in the morning, the curls were not what I wanted at all and my hair was huge! lol

Thanks.

How can I curl my hair without using curlers?

You should use what grannies wear before they go to bed, the original curlers, not the heated ones. You should use the large sized ones for the curls you're trying to achieve, for example;

http://eu2.inmagine.com/img/photodisc/pd...

How can I curl my hair without using curlers?

When i want curls i towel dry my hair and then split my hair in half down the centre and make two *french* plaits.

Usual plaits will just curl the bottom and its all symmetrical and unnatural looking.

French plaits will curl right from the top and because they will be quite irregular, they'll give a natural looking curl.

Thats what i do anyway, then sleep on them until dry and i'm always amazed how well it turns out :)

Give it a little brush through with your fingers and ta daa!

How can I curl my hair without using curlers?

The best way to curl your hair is to put it up in rags cut long strip of a old towel and then hold one end on your head and wrap the rag around lots of small pony tails until the hair is covered then tie the to ends together sleep on it, the best thing about it,is you need a friend to do it over a bottle of wine and music or good movie have fun.

How can I curl my hair without using curlers?

use a curling product and shampoos and when you wake up dont brush your hair it will take the curls out

Are makeup brushes that are made of animal hair better then brushes not made from animals?

is yes how so?do they last longer too?

Are makeup brushes that are made of animal hair better then brushes not made from animals?

natural bristle brushes, whether hair or make up, are the best. they're softer, thus won't cause damage to the delicate tissues on your face. makeup applied with natural bristles appears more blended... less clownish. these brushes will last you years if you take care of them properly. wash them once a week with anti-bacterial soap and let air dry. if you have acne problems, wash them after each use to prevent bacterial growth that can make acne worse.

Are makeup brushes that are made of animal hair better then brushes not made from animals?

So, you're willing to brush a dead animal's fur on your face everyday if I told you makeup brushes that are made of animal hair are better than brushes not made from animals?

Are makeup brushes that are made of animal hair better then brushes not made from animals?

Yes. I don't know if they last longer, but you shouldn't use them out of common decency

Are makeup brushes that are made of animal hair better then brushes not made from animals?

I don't think that brushes that are made of animal hair better then brushes not made from animals... you can be allergic of them...they are smother but that's not good when you are applying your make up it's just messy. I think they last longer tho.

Are makeup brushes that are made of animal hair better then brushes not made from animals?

No..

Are makeup brushes that are made of animal hair better then brushes not made from animals?

dont use one made from an animal.

Are makeup brushes that are made of animal hair better then brushes not made from animals?

I find them to a little better than other brushes, they're softer and apply the make up just better, but if you take care of your brushes - cleaning %26amp; keeping the bristles in shape (that's what makes your brushes keep for longer) - any of the 'cheaper' brushes are fine.

Are makeup brushes that are made of animal hair better then brushes not made from animals?

Would you really want to kill animals for your vanity? Food is one thing but for nonsense reasons? Pick the non amimal ones.

Are makeup brushes that are made of animal hair better then brushes not made from animals?

i don't think the animals like horses get hurt or die just cus they cut their hair. it's like when u go to the salon and want to donate hair.

The ones made out of plastic actually fall out over time.

I think the animal ones are better.

You should just choose what feels better for you %26amp; ur face.

Are makeup brushes that are made of animal hair better then brushes not made from animals?

They're not. Animal brushes made out of real hair have hair shafts, much like your own hair. This hair is porous, so it traps make-up in the brush, and it doesn't apply it as well to your skin. The Body Shop makes a great line of synthetic brushes that is softer and longer-lasting than any natural brush.

Still facial hair removal products?

I have a few products to ask: Extra Strength Precision Brush-On Hair Remover, Cream Hair Remover Kit for Face, Upper Lip and Chin, and Nair Hair Remover Moisturizing Face Cream.

Which one would you recommend? What other products would you recommend?

[I do not like waxing kits or sprays]

Also, would razoring your face harm it?

Still facial hair removal products?

putting a razor to ur face will be suicide!

It would grow back even thickerr, and it would look so disgusting%26lt;333

Still facial hair removal products?

i would do the cream hair remover. dont ever shave your face. it will make your hair grow in darker.

Still facial hair removal products?

ew you have facial hair? Gross!

Still facial hair removal products?

babe....dont shave ur face!!! I use a facial bleaching kit for my arms and face! I have 3 exceptionally thick hairs on my chin and I pluck them. The hairs are still their but you don't even notice them, and you know what? We ourselves always notice things like that 100 times more than the next person!

How do you get rid of fragile hair?

i have fragile hair and i would really like to get this problem to go away!! Whenever i take a shower or brush my hair i seem to always loose hair. Not full clumps off hair , just little ones. Its kind of hard to explain but i do loose alot a day. I don't have any bald spots or any really thin areas, i have really think hair REALLY THICK! is there something wrong with my hair? please help me get rid of this problem! im starting to really worry.

How do you get rid of fragile hair?

Use conditioner, it will make your hair less brittle and easier to brush.

How do you get rid of fragile hair?

Um? Shave it off?

How do you get rid of fragile hair?

I have some conditioner for long, hard to grow, or split ends hair from Garnier, they have all kinds of shampoos and conditioners for hair problems. I would look into that next time you go shopping. They probably have a product for your hair.

How do you get rid of fragile hair?

You are supposed to lose up to 50 strands a day so you're fine. A lot of different people believe different things but the only way to get rid of fragile hair is to consume calcium as hair has the same basic make up as bone and trim every few months to avoid breakage. Good luck.

How do you get rid of fragile hair?

If you don't have long strands of hair coming out of your hair (which is normal) and it's just short ones, its all the dead ends that are breaking off from split ends and stuff. So what you need to do is: Trim off all the dead ends, and then use some good products on your hair to strengthen it. Sleek is a good shampoo and conditioner product and they do carry other hair products. Aussie conditioners are my favorite though! The 3-minute miracle is fabulous. SO try this and if that doesn't work let me know!

How do you get rid of fragile hair?

At the JC Penney Salon, they have this treatment u could have applied, for reconstruction, for $12, I do it once a month, also the have this shampoo and conditioner Nioxin for the exact condition of ur hair. Good Luck.

A guy searching for the right hair product for wavy/curly hair?

I have been through so many gels which leave my hair coarse, rough and bushy- trying to brush it out is hell because it pulls and only looks worse, mousse isnt strong enough to hold, Ive been searching for the right product- and have come across American Crew Products, before purchasing and being let down I figured let me ask for those who have used this product or are in the similar predicament as I am, What works for you? (I have shoulder length hair - when wet it is perfect so I want a product that can mantain that ease) Any guys out there with long hair- found the perfect product? Let me know please.

You should go to your doctor. I have hypothyroidism (low thyroid). It makes my hair fall out especially if I am not on my thyroid meds. There are many reasons your hair could fall out. I found a website that describes some of the reasons better than I could. http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/Hair-...

Try not to worry about it too much. Stress can also cause hair loss. Your doc should be able to figure out what is going on.

Hair is falling out like crazy plz help!?

To start, do you have a good diet, eat lots of fruit and vegetable, when you wash your hair, use the cheap stuff cause less chemical in shampoo is best, you can rinse your hair with beer, vinegar. Once a month you put tomotoe juice in your hair it brings up the ph balance, what I do I use a comb and comb the juic in my wet hair. leave it on for half hour wrap in towel. use natural way for your hair. To much chemical is not good. check your natural store they will give you vitamine to help fortifie your hair,,,Royal Jellie is good

My hair is grey and short need a easy hair cut plus something to make my grey hair pop i also have BAD sweats?

Well when you go to get your hair cut have them put a clear glaze in it. It will help make you shir shiney and look fuller. It will only last a few weeks but it does the trick. A glaze usually runs no more than $20-30. I usually get them myself.

My hair is grey and short need a easy hair cut plus something to make my grey hair pop i also have BAD sweats?

There are many products on the market, check the local market, or retail shops.

Excessive hair fall after giving birth?

Everytime I brush my hair, I can see a lot of hair in my brush, especially after I take a bath. I have noticed that my hair become thinner. Does anybody here knows what kind of supplement i should take to prevent hair loss. If this is normal to all women who give birth, how long does it last before going back to normal? I'm worried because I dont like to cut my hair^^! Please help an thanks in advance.

Excessive hair fall after giving birth?

From what i've seen this isn't uncommon. Considering its hormonal changes that probably cause this there mightn't be much you can do. Eating protein rich foods might help, as well as using a hair strengthening shampoo and conditioner, and avoiding dying your hair.

Rest assured, it will grow back. There was a lady who used to come into the hair salon i work at who had this issue. Her hair thinned out quite alot, but returned to normal after afew months after she'd given birth.

If your very concerned, don't hesitate to consult your doctor.

Excessive hair fall after giving birth?

THE MEDICINE THAT YOU ARE TAKING IS MAKING THAT HAPPENED

Excessive hair fall after giving birth?

Yes, this is normal and is caused be hormonal changes. You may have had more hair fullness develop during pregnancy also.

24 years old and hair is thinning?

I know the best choice is probably for me to go to a doctor (OBGYN, dermatologist, or..?) but until I can afford that-- why am I losing so much hair to the brush everyday, to the point that when it's wet its very noticeable? It's not too bad dry, yet; there're no bald patches and new hair seems to be growing in, but still.. why? Is it true prolonged weight loss can do it? Because in the last year I dropped 73lbs and am trying to lose 17 more. I used to have PCOS (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome), but since I lost the weight all symptoms of it have completely disappeared except the thinning hair. Is it related to that though? If it helps: My hair is hip-length and I'm a 24-year-old brunette female with hispanic and caucasian ancestry, who uses store-brand shampoos once every day and jogs 2 hours a day, 4 - 5 days a week. When I jog my first hour I don't get a shower in until after the second jog that night, and I also sometimes go to bed with my hair wet. Is all that killing it?

24 years old and hair is thinning?

It sounds like the effects of PCOS. I would go to the doctor to make sure that your thyroid is in order.

24 years old and hair is thinning?

ya might go to a salon and see what kind of products they have for that....possibly even Rogaine

Sooo when I wask my hair then get out of the shower I usually let my hair air dry for a little while cause hair dryers just fry up my hair so I try to not to use one that much. But anyway, when I get out of the shower and brush my hair, it feels like stringy. I can't think of a better word to describe it. I don't know if it's product build up or if my hair is just being dull (maybe it's gotten used to the shampoo I've been using or something). What do you think it is? And what do you think is the best way to fix this?? Thanks so much!!

Hair help!!?

use a ditengler and when you put conditioner in your hair let it sit for about ten minutes and then wash it out that should help!!!

Hair help!!?

That is a product build up. A good way to solve that would be to stop some of the products for a little while and see what happens.

Good luck

Why does my hair go static when I brush it?

if your hair is dry and you brush it, its like causing friction, which makes static, which is why your hair sticks up, try some moisturising shampoo, most of them are called moisture injection, tony %26amp; guy do a good one, you can get it from all larger BOOTS stores.

Why does my hair go static when I brush it?

Brushing it to much.

Why does my hair go static when I brush it?

As you are using a brush with manmade fibers ie nylon and that builds up static try using a brush with natural bristles, they are more expensive but worth every penny......

Why does my hair go static when I brush it?

It's the friction between your hair and the brush. Try a little water or something like Bed Head frizz control.

Why does my hair go static when I brush it?

it does sound like ur brushing it too much, or prehaps u have the wrong kind of brush for ur hair type, i didnt think it made any difference but if u have fine hair u only need something with a soft head. thicker hair needs harder head brush.

Why does my hair go static when I brush it?

STOP you are using the wrong brush...

Buy a thermo non static brush this will sort your problem out straight away

My hair can snap and fall easily?

like when i brush my hair my hair can come off eaisly. even when i brush my hair with my hands. i currently use garnier fruitis as my shampoo and conditioner. how do i make my hair more stronger?

My hair can snap and fall easily?

First you need to determine whether your hair is falling off or breaking off.

If your hair is breaking off then you need a protein-base shampoo and conditioner and stop damaging your hair.

If your hair is falling off then you need to check on your diet and/or medication. Reducing stress can also make a change. You may also take a blood test to see if you are low in any vitamin.

(just as an as if, if you anoexic then your hair will fall off more than a regular human)

My hair can snap and fall easily?

more stronger...lol

if it's only a few strands of hair, it's nothing to worry about. but if it's more than like...ten hairs or more, listen to the other people!

My hair can snap and fall easily?

if your hair had been chemically treated (like relaxing chem, color treated, etc) they would be easily damage and hence fall off a lot.

but our hair fall off everyday, it's natural.

keep on condition your hair, healthy diets, work out, ...reduce stress (yoga, meditation,)

Anyone have the same kind of hair as me?

My hair is very dirty blonde, or a blondish brown. It is like, exactly borderline, and none of my friends can agree whether it is blonde or brown. it is sorta wavy, but closer to straight, especially when it is dry out. When it is humid, it is still wavy, but if i shower and don't brush my hair it gets almost curly. It sometimes get a little oily on top, but usually its fine. It isn't dry either. Its not very thin, but it isn't really thick either. It does get a little poofy when I brush it though. Not particularly frizzy or anything, just a few of the normal flyaways.

Does anyone have similar hair? How do you take care of it? Like..what kind of shampoo , conditioner, styling products, brush, etc. do you use. Do you use a curling or straightening shampoo? How often do you wash your hair? Do you shower in the morning or at night? Do you blow dry it, straighten, or curl it? I'm looking for specific details, like brand names of products, etc. Thanks SOO much for all your help!

Anyone have the same kind of hair as me?

omgg ! i think i have the excat samee hair as you!

except mines like blonde hahah.

but i use pantene pro-v (75%smoother hair kind.. its white and green the bottle ahha)

i shower in the night usually. i never blowdry it cuz it ruins my hair soo baad.

sometimes i straighten tho, but usally only like four or five times a month.

whats really nice, if you do blowdry your hair, is take a shower at night before you go to bed, and after you blowdry it put it in a tight french braid. when you take it out in the morning, it comes out really wavy and pretty =]

Anyone have the same kind of hair as me?

omg my hair is so close 2 urs its kinda scary!!!

i use tresemme! it works great!

i do blow dry it...it stays straighter that way and and it wont puff out if it gets to warm!!!

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

I used to play and brush my ex-wife's hair all the time, I loved it, it was realxing for me and she liked it as well. My ex-girlfriend would never let me play or brush her hair. I always thought all women loved to have their hair played with and brushed?

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

Everyone's head is different... Some girls have a sensitive scalp and dont like having their hair done... OR some girls are too particular about their hair and dont want anyone touching it.

For me, I have a head of thick, long hair and LOVE when my hair is played with and brushed... it feels fabulous.

But I know a lot girls who dont even like getting their hair DONE.

To each his own, I guess.

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

only when they spend a long time fixing it up believe me, not all women like it

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

NOT all do! I like it sometimes and sometimes it gets on my nerves! And its not a big deal dude!

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

some girls just don't like it. it turns some on. some girls are just different i don't know why somebody wouldn't like that jeez

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

Not all. I have straight hair and I love it (affectionately known as "hair sex"), but some people with curly hair don't like it, or don't like their hair being touched. Also, some women spend a lot of time and money on their hair to look good, and don't want it to be touched. Beats me.

I think it depends too on who's doing the touching...if it's someone I'm interested in that's cool, if not then it freaks me out. This is your ex that didn't like it--chances are it was because she wasn't into you.

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

I do so I don't know what's wrong with your current chicka. Maybe she secretly wears a wig or extensions and hasn't told you. That's all i can think of.

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

Ummm, we're all individual women - that's why some women like it and some don't.

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

im 35 and i got a new g/f i she is the first one ive seen that would let me play with her hair and i like it too

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

Every person has a different personality and different likes and dislikes..duh.

No offense, but this is a dumb question.

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

Some woman take a long time to do their hair. And on top of that they have tons of gel and hairspray added to it. Trying to get a brush through that, is like pull your hair out with your hands.

On the contrary, I had an ex who never wanted to brush my hair, but my now boyfriend loves to.

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

There are exceptions to every rule. Especially if they just got their hair done or something.

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

when i take the time to straighten my hair, i don't mind it. but if i leave my hair curly, i hate it cause then it just gets tangled and frizzy

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

It feels nice but sometimes it takes to long to fix after it is being played with, Other times it gives you chills, and another reason is sometimes you want to just relax and think about nothing or watch tv and it is hard to think if someone is constantly plsying with your hair

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

the wife was comfortable with you messing up her hair you probably did it more often than not ( if you know what i mean lol) the other girl is insecure with messy hair, she probably thinks it is a turn off for you

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

Nope. It depends on the woman's personality. Some are very protective of their hair, others just feel uncomfortable with it. Gals have dislikes as well! :P

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

Some woman invest a lot of time in the appearance of their hair. Your filthy greasy hands are not helping.

Once you get their panties off, it doesn't matter so much.

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

Some women like their hair played with because it relaxes them..and some women just dont like to be touched.

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

It's just like anything else...some women like to have their feet rubbed, some don't. Some women like to be held when they sleep and some women can't sleep with someone constanly touching them. It all depends on the women. Some like it and some are annoyed by it. You just have to know the women.

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

The same reason it's cute to have a guy they're interested in whisper something dirty in their ear at work, but if the wrong guy does the exact same thing, it's "sexual harassment"! The other thing you have to consider is, back in the day, the hair was usually theirs; nowadays, you're liable to come away with $50 worth of hair extensions or blue-green fingers...lmao

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

I love for my husband to play with my hair, because I love him. It's just another way to make contact with the person you love. If I have gone to the trouble of fixing my hair if we are going out, i don't like him to play with it because I don't want it messed up. I love the attention when he touches my hair, though.

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

No wonder why she is your ex,because she like her hair more than you...

They said, those people who dont want their hair to be touch is because they have some bad experience with their hair so they feel uncomfortable when other's touch the hair. They might feel shy whatever comments they hear..

Confidence is what they need.

Why do some women like their hair played with and others don't?

cause every women is diffrent everythang ur ex_wife like dont mean everyone is da same diffrent folks like diffrent things maybe u need to let da feels that u have 4 ur ex go cause it sound like ur tryin 2 compare womens........

I have a hair problem?

ok heres the problem ever sence i had my daughter last march i have been loosing quite abit of hair...you cant notice. i have thick wavey hair..after i shower i lose some and when i brush my hair. anyone have this problem? what can i use for my hair? any ideas?

I have a hair problem?

You won't go bald. In fact, your hair should be back to normal by your baby's first birthday.

Here's what's going on. Normally, about 85 to 95 percent of the hair on your head is growing and the other 5 to 15 percent is in a resting stage. After the resting period, this hair falls out 閳?often while you're brushing or shampooing it 閳?and is replaced by new growth. An average woman sheds about 100 hairs a day.

During pregnancy, increased levels of estrogen prolong the growing stage. There are fewer hairs in the resting stage and fewer falling out each day, so you have thicker, more luxuriant tresses.

After you give birth, your estrogen levels take a tumble and a lot more hair follicles enter the resting stage. Soon you'll have more hair coming out in the shower or on the brush. This unusual shedding will taper off and your hair will be back to its pre-pregnancy thickness about six to 12 months after you give birth.

By the way, not all women notice dramatic changes in their hair during pregnancy or the postpartum period. Among those who do, it tends to be more obvious among women with longer hair.

What can I do about it?

You won't be able to stop the hair from falling out, but you can experiment with different hairstyles or products (such as hair thickeners or mousse) to give your hair a fuller look during this transition period.

Many moms, tired of scooping hair out of shower drains or sweeping strands off the bathroom floor, find that now is a good time to go for a short cut. Plus, a short, wash-and-go hairstyle can be easier to take care of when you have a new baby in the house and you're strapped for time.

A note to new moms with long hair: Strands of hair can end up tightly wrapped around your baby's tiny appendages, including his fingers, toes, wrists, ankles, and penis. This is called a hair tourniquet, and it can be quite painful for your little one. If you find him crying for no apparent reason, check carefully for tight bands of hair.

I just had my little girl in June and was losing hair like crazy. Seriously, like crazy. I thought it could be a thyroid problem but it wasnt. My hair loss just got back to normal in December. So it took a good six months. You're just going to have to wait it out.

I have a hair problem?

You need to have your Tyroid checked. Your hormones are probably out of balance. Also, look into changing your shampoo and conditioner. I would use products that are natural like Burt Bees or ShiKai.

I have a hair problem?

This happens a lot you are getting older my mom has the prblem but it usally always grows back. There is a conditon that I read about where a small girl became allergic to her hair and it all fell out. However I do not believe you have this problem because there are other factors of why you can be losing your hair. When you take a shower sometimes the water hitting your hair can knock hair folicles loose. Same with when you brush your hair. If you can tell that your hair is not growing back then ask your doctor about alopecia areata, which is the allergy. I you notice hair on your whole body falling out go to your doctor immeadiatly because you probably have alopecia universalis. That was all I could do to help you. I hope i have,

Lola White

I have a hair problem?

When you were pregnant, your hormone production was quite a bit different than the usual. Did you notice that you were losing much less hair? So, the hair that should have fallen when you were pregnant are falling now that your hormone balance has returned to normal. That's nature... There's nothing to worry about.

But if it doesn't improve in the next month, then it could be that you have a new condition of hormone imbalance, or that you are experiencing unusually high levels of stress (or is it the baby blues?), or that you have sebborheic dermatitis which requires specific shampoos, some of which are available over the counter. But wait before you start taking action...

ALL U HAVE 2 DO IS GET SOME "VIGIROL 8" IT'S A TYPE OF CONDITIONER AFTER U WASH HER HAIR OR U CAN JUST WASH %26amp; GREASE IT REAL GOOD.THAT'S MY BEST ANSWER ONLY BECAUSE YOUR CHILD IS 2. NOW, IF SHE WASN'T U CAN PERM IT "JUST FOR ME", OK.

Why does curly hair take longer to grow?

anyways, I have a hair regimen. I brush my hair in a braided bun and wrap it up with a scarf every night. I wash my hair with herbal shampoo( it has things like indian hemp, aloe vera,, jojoba oil etc, st. John's wort), then use garner fructis curl and shine conditioner, then rinse that out and use herbal hair food for the end. Split Ends are cut between 7 weeks. I have been doing this since Jun. So, far, I haven't have any growth, WELL I CAN'T TELL IF IT GREW? what's the best way to see if it did? I TRIED MEASURING IT WITH A TAPE MEASURE AND IT'S DIFFERENT. No, not the metal clip tape measure for house and tools things.

P.S. I'm HALF Iroquis(native american) if it helps!

Why does curly hair take longer to grow?

I am happy that your hair is virgin, That is a good start my daughter's hair is also virgin and here is what I do like every 6 months I would like to see the actual length I would hot comb it or either give her a wash and set. The heat that is coming from the blow dryer will make her have that straight look without really straighting it. The herbal shampoo that you are useing should work if you have been useing any product for three months and you see no results then stop useing that product because it may not be for your hair's texture. Regardless to which ever product that we use on the market it will not give us the requried length that you are looking for,and here is why when we eat food there are good proteins and bad protein and the bad ones can do things to our hair like make our hair grow slower than it normally would. This bad protein is called DHT and it is in everyone and that is what stops our growth. Here is your solution you can use a protein treatment called Aphogee and sit under the dyer with it. Start to get wash and sets once a week because a real beautican is suppose to know how to wash and set virgin hair and still make her hair look nice. Use this product and don't wash it out until you go and get your wrap let them use the shampoo and use the rest as directed but don't wash your hair every day. This may be a little expensive but it is worth it and you will see results in two weeks. This is the name of the product it is called Avacore and the other one is called Hairgenesis. I hope that I have helped you. oh and do not cut your hair but only once a year because you should not have split ends because you don't do nothing wrong to your hair.

Why does curly hair take longer to grow?

Search me.

Why does curly hair take longer to grow?

if u r takin good care of it im pretty sure it grew...try straighting it and u will be able to tell that it grew.....i thought tha same thing about my har...once i straightend it i could tell aloth that it grew

Why does curly hair take longer to grow?

It doesn't grow any slower, it just seems like it since it isn't growing straight out. Shortest distance between two points is a straight line.

Why does curly hair take longer to grow?

no your hair does grow I'm a hairdresser I've been for 17 1/2 years and you see your hair everyday you don't think that your hair doesn't grow but actually it grows at least 1/2 to 1 inch an month cause you hair is probably curly , like mine but I color mine red so I know that it grows cause my roots start to show

I hope that I was help-full in anyway....

Why does curly hair take longer to grow?

well, i don't know, but different hair grows at different paces. my hair is board straight and it barley grows at all! so, i don't know.

Why does curly hair take longer to grow?

If you wear it straight once in a while you will get the look of longer hair...just for a change.

Why does curly hair take longer to grow?

you can't tell if your hair grew because it is in fact so curly. It probably doesn't look like it's growing but I'll bet it is! You have virgin hair so you can't see a line of demarcation anywhere to prove that your hair is growing. Be patient, your probably anxious so it won't seem to be growing as fast as you want.

Why does curly hair take longer to grow?

Your clipping your ends too often. You only need to clip your ends maybe 3 or 4 times per year. June isn't that long ago and on average a persons hair only grows about 6-8 inches per year no matter what regimen you use. If you have only been trying to grow your hair longer for 2 months your hair growth will only be about 1/2 inch, but with the clipping of the ends you've basically cut off your your visible hair growth.

Why does curly hair take longer to grow?

One reason might be that because its CURLY, you cant see the growth as well. If you striaghten out with a ceramic iron, you could see the length of your hair more easily.

Also, you said that you brush your hair into a bun every night, but maybe you should let it loose at night and just wrap a scarf around the edges to let your scalp breathe.

Also, Garnier fructus curl and shine products are very drying, it contains alcohol, so thats not the best conditioner. Find a deep conditioner like Organic Root Stimulator Hair Mayonnaise that you can use once a week. Try not to wash your hair every day, thats drying for curly hair. And look for a product called Carol's Daughter, its formulated for your hair type and might be a better conditioning system.

You may also want to consider cutting your hair less.

Also, a balanced diet with fruit, vegetables, protein, and lots of water everyday, plus exercise to improve circulation, could promote hair growth.

If you still don't see hair growth, i reccomend these products by Hair Formula 37. I've been taking their vitamins for almost a montha and my hair has grown more than it typically would. their website is fasterhairgrowth.com

god luck :)

Why does curly hair take longer to grow?

If you are blow drying it or flat ironing it at high temps, then you need to stop it. Using high temp styling tools can break off your hair, hence lack of "growth". Also I would deep condition as often as possible. For more info go to http://forum.blackhairmedia.com.

Why does curly hair take longer to grow?

Curly hair doesn't take longer to grow, it's just curly. You could straighten it to get the full length, try using a flatiron. But you should trim your ends every 6-8 weeks. Not a haircut but trim is recommended. Do you are on the right regimen. Continue. The main thing is not length but healthy hair, which you are on the right track. But since June, you won't see a great amount of growth. You need to be patient and keep doing what you are doing. Heredity has a lot to do with the length of your hair too. Let's not forget our DNA, so just be patient with your hair and keep it healthy. You don't want split ends so the trimming is great......... You can buy a styling comb from Sally's that has the inches marked on it, this is a way to measure your hair...........12 in a box for $2. Good Luck.........

Could You go without brushing your teeth or brushing your hair for one year for a million dollars?

For a million dollars, you could NOT do one or the other for a whole year. what would you choose? Rat nest or Rank Breath?

Could You go without brushing your teeth or brushing your hair for one year for a million dollars?

I could definitely go without brushing my hair for one year for a million dollars....I would just use my fingers to comb through it and keep it up in a ponytail most days....that's what I do now, most of the time.

Could You go without brushing your teeth or brushing your hair for one year for a million dollars?

I'd go with the rat nest - I'd just shave my head and get a wig - SHOW ME THE MONEY!

Could You go without brushing your teeth or brushing your hair for one year for a million dollars?

I would rather not brush my hair, as long as I could wash it who cares if its brushed.

Could You go without brushing your teeth or brushing your hair for one year for a million dollars?

Hell ya i would, although i would be worried a bout my teeth falling out, but i could buy new ones!

Do guys like their hair touched? because most girls do, dont they?

I know that lots of girls i know find it relaxing and a really nice feeling to have their hair touched, and brushed an tied up and like head massages and stuff, do guys?

Do guys like their hair touched? because most girls do, dont they?

its a big NO NO in a guys world to touch their hair especially if its gelled.

just touch em in other parts of their body just not the hair hehehee

Do guys like their hair touched? because most girls do, dont they?

There should be no reason for guys not to like head massages and such. I know a guy friend of mine likes to have his hair done at the salon because when they would wash his hair, he likes the feeling of it. So I don't really think gender would make much of a difference. Perhaps some guys wouldn't be as open as much as girls because they think it's a feminem topic?

Do guys like their hair touched? because most girls do, dont they?

I'm a girl and I have never liked when people touch my hair. I don't know many guys that like their hair touched either.

Curly hair ahhh help?

i was thinking of relaxing my hair at the salon but i never relaxed my hair in my life

i just want to know if i relax my har will it damage it??

will i lose alot of hair??

cause im sick of having to brush my curly hair its not that easy especally if u have long curly thick hair..ahhh

thats y i want to realx it...

just incase if u think it will the realxer will damage my hair what other products are the best for keeping the hair nice, soft and stright...

Curly hair ahhh help?

After you get out of the shower, comb your hair and put in some anti-frizz product. Do not get your hair relaxed. Go to an upscale salon and get your hair cut to where it will curl nice and have the cosmetologist teach you how to style it. If you get your hair relaxed, you can never quit. It's like shaving. I had my hair relaxed, and it ruined all my hair. Now, I have to get it cut about 1.5" every month until all the damage is gone. It's been almost a year, and I still have a very high level of damage. Please consider all options before you decide to do such an irreversible process. Focus on making your curls look beautiful. It's a lot easier to work with your hair than to go against it. After your curls look fab, I know you will love it!

Curly hair ahhh help?

Some products you may want to try are Frizz-Ease, I do believe Frizz-Ease makes a hair relaxant that is pretty nice. Also, Dove makes an intense conditioner for permed/color treated hair. It comes in a short jar and you leave it in for three minutes.

Curly hair ahhh help?

Any type of Chemical Processing that you do to your hair will do some sort of damage to it. Most of the time the "straigteners" that they do at the salon and at home, they do NOT work. If they do work, you have to have them done every so often (just like dyeing your hair, it will grow out and need to be redone!)

There is so many different over the counter products that will soften your hair.

Try a NO-FRIZZ serum....they make your hair soft and very nice feeling! Plus, they are alot cheaper than a salon trip!

Curly hair ahhh help?

Get a GHD hair straitner!!! they do not damage your hair and you will only need to do it once every 4 days, it is the only thing that will truly work!!!!

Help! I have too much product in my hair!?

I got my hair cut and styled today at the salon and the stylist put way too much shine cream in my hair. As a result, it looks somewhat greasy and it feels almost stuck together. I don't have time to take a shower and wash it out and dry and style it again. Does anyone know of a different way to get the excess out? I've tried brushing my hair a lot and that hasn't helped. Thank you!

Help! I have too much product in my hair!?

DO NOT BRUSH! i repeat, DO NOT BRUSH!!!! This only makes it worse. sprinkle a little baking soda on it, wipe it out with a paper towel, then use some baby powder to freshen the scent. when you do get time to wash it, be sure to use baking soda mixed in with your shampoo to remove any build-up from the product, then wash again before conditioning, and only condition the ends. never apply the conditioner to your scalp. trust me...i do hair.

Help! I have too much product in my hair!?

Baby Powder

Help! I have too much product in my hair!?

oh gosh dont brush it!!

that only makes it look even more greasy.

wet your finger tips with warm/hot water and rub in your roots.

that should take out some of it.

Help! I have too much product in my hair!?

paper towel then wipe the strands little by little. this will reduce too much oil

Help! I have too much product in my hair!?

If you have time, get to a drug store or pharmacy and see if they have dry shampoo like that used in hospitals. It will take excess grease out and leave your hair looking clean. You should also call and complain to the salon! Salons charge an arm and a leg for their services and if you look at the ingredients in their products, the same ingredients are found in over the counter products!

Help! I have too much product in my hair!?

Try wetting it with hot water, don't use shampoo for a few days (and don't go to that saloon!!!!!!!)

(P.S.) I usually put little conditioner on my hair and nothing else. Then I rinse my hair and my hair turns out fine.

Help! I have too much product in my hair!?

You can use baby powder or other types of powder to make your hair look less greasy by rubbing it in to your roots, but don't put too much in so that people can see whiteness on your hair.

Help! I have too much product in my hair!?

It probably took you longer to get on your computer, get into this site and type in you stupid question than what it would have just taken to wash the stuff out.

This is really a totally stupid question!!!!!!!

Ladies with long hair, do you have more hair loss in the fall/winter months, or as you age?

I am 47, I do have hypothyroidism, which I am on Thyroid medication for and I just had my blood work done, and according to that, I am on the right dose. I had a lot of hair loss before I was diagnosed, and then it got a lot better.

It seems like every time I wash or brush my hair, I am losing more than I should be. I have never had my hair this long before. (mid-to lowerback) So I'm just wondering if it is a seasonal thing, a hormonal thing because I am perimenopausal and I know my hormones are all screwed up, or is this normal?

I almost feel like I'm on Chemotherepy sometimes when I wash my hair, because it comes out in handfulls, probably guessing 50 or so strands at a time. I do have very fine somewhat wavy hair. Don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. I have found that Aussie products work best for me, and it's in my price range.

Help me please?

Ladies with long hair, do you have more hair loss in the fall/winter months, or as you age?

Well I'm not 47, but I do have hypothyroidism and even if you're on the medicine, you can still lose a lot of hair. not as much as before, but it's definitely evident. and don't worry haha, i shed like a dog. my hair gets EVERYWHERE. i'm pretty sure it's a common thing, and I do shed more in the winter as opposed to summer, but i think hair is overall healthier in the summer. but it shouldn't cause to have hair loss or anything to that extent, but if you notice that your hair is getting thinner, or it's falling out more than it should, you should ask your doctor for his/her opinion.

hope this helps!

also, try prenatal vitamins, and drinking water instead of soda. simple things like that, and you'll notice your hair improving in it's quality.

Ladies with long hair, do you have more hair loss in the fall/winter months, or as you age?

It's pretty normal for you to lose 50 to 100 strands per day. We all lose about that much per day no matter the age, but our hair does tend to thin out as we age. It just sounds like normal aging is a factor, but if you are concerned you could visit a dermetologist or ask your doctor about it. Below is a site that will give you more info on hair.

Hair emergency!!!!?

I don't like the way my hair looks. Whenever i brush them, they become really fuzzy, but if i stroke them with my hand they loose a bit of their fuzzyness, and thats good. But when io wear a ponytail, it looks like i don't have that much hair, the tip is very dry and thin. However, when i straighten my hair, they look amazing, although i don't do it anymore, too lazy. Actually i don't care whether my hair is straight or curly, or wavy, i just don't want them to be fuzzy. They sorta look like i have colored and recolored and chemically damaged my hair a LOT!!! But all i did was just straighten them for a few months, but i don't think i damaged them that much, because i always had fuzzy hair. A lot of shampoos promise "smooth %26amp;shiny" look, sure!!!! NONE of them work, i used those oily serums, but they just make my hair look dirty and greasy....gross.Do you know any products that work nicely?I play sports so i always wear a ponytail, whenever i don't i let my hair hang loose.

Hair emergency!!!!?

Usually friz comes from color or perms or brushing. But the true devil is wind. Wind is the worst thing for your hair. Think about it-all the pollution in the air that you don't see is being dragged through our hair. Blow drying is bad too. I do suggest Matrix. They have a shampoo called sleek and smooth. It's in a orange bottle and it works awesome. marry this up with Bioloagge smoothing milk and Wahla!!! Smooth hair!!! The top layer of your hair will always look damagged because that's where the damage occurs most often. Yes if you use too much serum your hair will look greasy but it's because you use it too close to your scalp-Try to do only the mid to ends of your hair-A dime size amount.

Hair emergency!!!!?

it's nice to have wet hair under the sun to avoid dryness..

Hair emergency!!!!?

Use a leave in conditioner and dont blow dry your hair at all let it air dry.

Hair emergency!!!!?

Try using either Vive or Sunsilk shampoos and conditioners for dry/frizzy/curly hair......they are excellent!! I have coarse gray hair and these products help it to lay smooth and soft..Definitely worth a try!!

Hair emergency!!!!?

I have the same problem because my hair is like a frizzy mess after i wash it and let it air dry. I should probably use a shampoo with more moisture to it but my mom want me to go natural with everything i use. that may be the way to go because then you can't damage your hair with chemical but it will take time to get it healthier. I'm working on it and the natural way is the way to go but when you wash it you can use a leave in conditioner or hair gel might help then you blow dry it to make it shine with all it's strength.

Hair emergency!!!!?

take a rest from using heat and color

How well do you take care of your hair?

What is your daily "hair routine"?

I usually brush my hair at least 20 times on each side

and lightly spray it with a protectant before straightening

my hair. And I shower every 2-3 days to help

maintain the natural oils in my hair. Then at night

I usually brush it a lot to keep it soft and knot-free.

What do you all do?

How well do you take care of your hair?

I comb my hair every morning. I also use a heat protection spray(TreSemmme) before I heat style. I wash my hair every 2-3 days, like you do. I deep condition once a week. I also use a clarifying shampoo every once in a while to clean my hair from all the products I've use(Frederic Fekkai Apple Cider Clarifying shampoo). I use boar bristle brushes, because Sephora and Marie Claire says they're are the best for distributing natural oils and making hair soft, which they definetely are. I also sleep on a silk pillow because that prevents hair from getting lots of tangles while sleeping. I also try not to use my straightener a lot, and I also air dry my hair when I can/have time to.

I take good care of my hair! :]

How well do you take care of your hair?

You need MakeoverSolutions.com it worked for me when i had the same problem.

Good luck

How well do you take care of your hair?

Hmm...I don't honestly do a lot to take care of my hair because naturally it's very healthy. However, since I dye and bleach quite often (every few weeks at least) I do use Aussie 3-Minute Miracle especially after I process my hair. Other than that, I really don't need to do much to keep my hair looking nice, other than wash it at least every 2 days, because otherwise it can start to get a bit oily.

How well do you take care of your hair?

this is my routine that i have been sharing with others.....

Currently i have long hair and have been learning alot so...

i do not have a relaxer i stopped getting them 5 years ago ( and i've only have 3 relaxers in my life time so this is all natural)

1. The shampoo, unfortunately many black women are using shampoos with alcohol and petroleum jelly. step away from them. Use Aveda's shampoo.. specifically the name is Brilliant...go to the website. I use it, i love it, it mouisterizes my hair and the products are natural. i have also heard that KeraCare is good.

2. Okay, step two condition it and then it is time to comb it out, Do not use a brush on you hair when it is wet,,it will hate you for it then break off in revenge. Put your your sections use a big tooth comb, to untangle it

3. Do a hot oil treatment atleast once a month with extra virgin olive oil...repeat..EXTRA VIRGIN olive oil..not the regular stuff. unfortunately i have yet to take this step however my hair is doing great.

4. Okay on the daily basis you need to pay close attention to your hair...i recommend conditioning your scalp(3-4 times a week) and your ends(everyday) so that they will not get dry and unhealthy Petroleum jellly and mineral oil are weapons of mass destruction ( in other words do not use grease) it does so much harm to your hair it cannot be all explained here. So you ask what do I use...well natural oils

jojoba oi, extra virgin olive oil, sesame oil, emu oil, coconut oil...all these natural oils and more love you..i promise.

I also use Aveda's Brilliant ( the name of the brand) emollient for my ends.

5. Next,,if you want your hair straight but still be natural it is time to get a freakin good flat iron.,i have the Chi..it does the job but I recommend getting the Sedu because of the good reviews. make sure to protect your hair..i have so thermal protector from Aveda.

6. If you have a relaxer ( i have heard that Mizani and Affirm are the best relaxers) don't continue to relaxer all your hair everytime you go to the salon..just the new growth and try to stretch relaxers as long as possible.

7. You do not need to trim your hair everytime you go to the salon maybe every 3 to 6 months.

8. Wrap your hair in a satin or silk scarf to prevent damage before you go to bed.

9. Eat healthy, drink lots of water,

10 take multivitamins, and fish oil pills you can get from GNC.

Follow these steps and life will be good..the best part about flat iron (which i do once a week or every two weeks not everday since it will kill your hair) is that it is not stringy but thick and healthy, yet straight and light enough to blow in the wind.

Why is brushing your hair supposed to be bad for it; and is combing it too many times per day also b

im sure that it is.

Why is brushing your hair supposed to be bad for it; and is combing it too many times per day also bad for it?

because your striping it of it's natural/healthy oils. what's more, your exposing it to more breakage (aka, split ends).

Why is brushing your hair supposed to be bad for it; and is combing it too many times per day also bad for it?

brushing and combing your hair too many times a day is bad because every time you brush your hair or comb your hair your hair brakes off and did you know that one srtan of hair that is broke of it takes it ten years to grow back well anyways and if your hair start breaking off whats left of your hair will have white tips at the end of them called spilt ends i hope i helped

Why is brushing your hair supposed to be bad for it; and is combing it too many times per day also bad for it?

I never heard of this 1 ! When u brush ur hair ur spreading ur natural health oils throughout ur hair ... :)

Why is brushing your hair supposed to be bad for it; and is combing it too many times per day also bad for it?

It's not, IF you have virgin hair, never a perm, color or anything else on all the hair on your head at this time.

Brushing dry (never wet) hair is intended to distribute oils from the scalp to the hair shaft, giving shine and a healthy look. It's best used on virgin hair otherwise it causes breakage. As for combing, be careful not to scratch the scalp with the comb. Remove tangles gently, starting at the ends of your hair and gently working your way up. Comb away!

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dr

Should I put mousse in after I brush my hair and set the curlers ?(not heated ones) Or should I put the mousse in and blow dry my hair then put the curlers in and then hairspray??

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

mousse blow dry then curl

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

the best way to use the non- heat curlers is to take a shower and wash your hair and then while it is still wet put the curlers in and then leave them in over-night. in the morning they will be bouncy curls and your hair will be completly dry.

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

take a shower, blow dry your hair till its dry, put the curleer in your hair hold it for 8 seconds, and take it out, then ur hair will be curled.

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

Trial and error willl get you the right results. Why don't you put the mousse in clean dry hair and then use the curlers? Will you be sleeping in the curlers?

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

i would actually put the mousse in your hair when its damp and then put the rollers in

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

Both ways would work... but from my own experience, you should blow dry your hair, roll you hair, then hair spray and blowdry. Use a curling iron for touch ups when you take your hair down.

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

i think it is better to curl it when it is dry, because either way it is going to get dry at one point. but i also think it is safer to do it when it is dry. but it also depends if there is emergency if your late for something.

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

It depends w/ wet hair use use the curlers

If u want 2 do it dry use hot curler

For mousse I have short hair so It worcks well

hope this helps

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

wet, then let them dry in the curlers so that they stay that way

then use a mouse, a scrunching gel or hair spray to keep it that way.

hope i helped :)

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

Set them in wet hair and leave them until it dries. You'll get a tighter, longer lasting curl. Setting non-heated rollers in dry hair is likely to do nothing but waste your time. :)

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

after washing hair work the gel and or pomade that works right with your hair, preferably extra strenght in, make sure your hair is damp and not wet, put the curlers in section by section and if you can sleep with them in, keep them in over night...covered(causes less frizz), and if ur hair is still damp when you wake up, blow dry...since u have naturally straight hair use hair spray b4 u blow dry and after and try not to fuss with the curls to much.

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

Wet! While it's wet your hair is more able to be shaped into whatever style you want. Start with wet (but not soaking wet) hair, smooth some mousse or a texturizing product through your hair, put the curlers in, then sit under a dryer if you have access to one or sleep with them in if you can. Hairspray's not necessary before, and if you use it while the hair is wet it will be crunchy when it dries. I'd put it on after your hair dries but *before* you take out the rollers.

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

it depends how long your hair is. my hair is really long so when my hair is still wet when i put them into curlers, the ends won't dry no matter how long i leave the curlers in (because that part isn't exposed to the air).

if your hair is long like mine, i would dry your hair, then slightly moisten it (i prefer just some leave-in conditioner spritz, but mousse works too) and in the morning, your hair will definitely be dry.

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

Roll it up damp and let dry, the curls will be lovely when took out of rollers, then style and spray.

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

You should put the curlers in when your hair is wet because it takes better also use a blow dryer while the curlers are in your hair

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

wet and leave it in over night! it'll come out all curly and silky! hope this helps u! And good luck with your curly hair!

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

it really depends on how long you have to get your hair curly, if you have all day, then you should make sure your hair is wet/damp then you should put a LITTLE bit of mousse in your hair. then put in the curlers. to make your hair dry faster you can lightly use a blow dryer against your hair, while the curlers are still in. put the hairspray in LAST because it will hold the curls, but don't over do it or your curls will have a noticeably bad texture.

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

When the hair is wet it will be easier to put rollers in. Make sure when you take them out the hair is 100% dry or the hair will want to dry its normal straight state. Hair left to dry around the roller is the longest the hair will keep its curl, use a haridryer to quicken the drying. If your hair is resistant always use tongs at the end of styling.

So mousse hair, put rollers in, wait to dry, use a hairdryer on a low heat and low blast to quicken, then style after with hairspray etc

Good luck

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

mouse in damp hair and then roller set your hair and let it air dry to get best results

I have straight hair and I want to use hair curlers, should I put them in while my hair is wet or dry?

Hair curlers can hurt your head overnight. Very uncomfortable. I recommend the old-fashioned paper curl method: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article...

They are comfy to sleep in and work great. You will want to probably have water in your hair if you want it to work well.
