i brush my hair , put grease in it ,put a hot rag on my head, and put a du rag on but i still cant get waves . How long does it take and is my technique right??

french braid your hair before you sleep and jst sleep with them in...if ur a girl.

I have NO idea what technique your using but ive never heard of it lol. I have a special spray from Garnier Fructis that works but I have thick hair and you have to use alot to get the desired look. Scrunching with alot of gel works well :]

Dampen your hair so it is quite wet.

Shampoo your hair. Massage your scalp, this will help circulation. Then rinse.

Use silky conditioner. Leave it in for 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse with cold water.

Let it dry naturally. This may take up to a hour. Depending on the thickness of your hair.

While your waiting, scrunch your hair up with your fingers. This is what makes the waves.
