are leave in conditioners work? or does it cause a lot of buildup?

Why does my hair do this?

I have extremely curly hair and very long, i rarely "brush" it. Brushes are bad for your hair. Try a wide tooth comb instead. Brushing your hair so often isn't really all that necessary and can lead to breakage. *"Brushing: the old notion that 100 brush strokes a day produces beautiful hair is false. Too much brushing may injure the hair, especially with brushes that pull the hair or scratch the scalp. Detangle the hair and then leave it be." -(See enclosed website). I wouldn't worry about it so much. When I have my hair staight, I only brush twice a day- morning and night. Hope you find this helpful!

That's why they have something that calls hair spay.

Use conditioner only once in two washes.

After washing hair, tie it up in a knot using a good absorbing towel. Hair should not be dripping wet.

Now tie hair up in a knot using clip. Get a small layer of hair near the neck loose with all other hair tied up. dry this part of hair alone, and style it as needed. Then loosen another layer of hair a bit higher. work ur way up till you hair is set. This helps in hair not getting tangled often. Good luck.

It sounds like you have fine hair, possibly color-treated. The best way to keep it from looking stringy is to keep it trimmed and use a light weight leave in conditioning spray. Pravana intensive hydrating treatment is excellent and is sold in salons or you can find it online. Good luck!

you should consider changing the shampoo and the conditioner that you are now using and try panteen, any panteen product, but make sure that the panteen has a cream that comes with it. meaning that it comes with shampoo and conditioner and hair cream that keeps you hair moist and untangled and when you use it make sure you blow dry your hair and comb through your hair with a comb. brushing it is only making it worse. start combing it.

Why does my hair do this?

My sisters a hair dresser and she says Garnier Fructis is the worst

product she's ever come across for leaving a build up and consequently leaving your hair a mess.

Try the neutrogena range - they smell lovely and rinse away without residue, and leaves hair squeeky clean and shiny :)

Why does my hair do this?

when you condition your hair its always best to leave it on for a few minutes with a plastic cap so your hair can absorb it, it's also a good idea to keep your ends trimmed to avoid breakage at the ends, and every so often it's a good idea to change you hair products...your hair may get used to the garnier and needs something else to help it stay untangled
