I want to do something with my curly hair but i don't know what style to have it in PLEASE HELP

i'm not an expert into hair styling - well tbh i know nothing bout it. i have very curly, quite long hair and i have to keep it in a plait all the time because this way it is manageable and looks tidy. i haven't done anything to it, and mousse doesn't work. whenever i brush my hair it goes quite frizzy and puffy so it doesn't look nice in a pony tail. when my hair is wet its got nice curls but when it dries it goes horrible and tangly. i really want to cut it and style it somehow but i don't know what to do. Can someone please give me some ideas. thank yoo

Well i know you said mousse doesn't work but try this:

When you get out of the shower comb your hair with a wide tooth comb. Then get some mousse and scrunch. If you want, you can diffuse it. After that, if you have any flyaway just get some frizz serum and smooth it on. DO NOT brush or comb your hair.

If that doesn't work then I don't really know what you could do. The Tigi Curls Rocks products are realy good (i've heard).

You could also braid it to loosen the curls and then you would have pretty waves! Good luck!

I have a very curly hair, either. Recently I bought a hair iron and I straighten myhair with it. I used to wear a pony tail as you said, but it looked quite odd and I was a bit dissapointed with my image. but now my hair looks perfect!^^
