When do you use a brush? How about a comb?

Are there specific times? Like your hair has to be dry when you brush it. Comb when its wet? Or??

Use a brush when your hair is dry and use a comb when your hair is wet. If you brush wet hair, you can damage it.

I use a comb when is wet to de-tangle my hair since is long, and a brush when is dry and I'm doing a pony tail or some hair do.

i brush my hair in the shower when the conditioner is still in, i rarely use a comb.

i use a brush to un-tangle my hair and a comb only when i need to section it like when im doing a half pony tail or braids or doing a part in my hair, i only like rat-tail combs i dont use any others, they seems pretty useless

i use a comb to get out tangles when my (or my childrens) hair is wet. While I'm drying I use a vented round brush, and after it is dry i use a regular brush.
