Don't brush naturally curly hair, that makes it worse. You have to get a product to put in while your hair is wet, scrunch dry or air dry it and your curls will look defined and smooth. Use KMS Curl up, it is great. If you want straight hair, use a flat iron.

use a hair straightener to make it straight or use a de tangler and brush your hair when you get out of the shower then use mouse

There are many de-frizzer's on the market. Make sure that your hair isn't dry - you can try a moisturizing leave-in conditioner.

Look for hydrating shampoos and conditioners to use on a regular basis.

Otherwise, try some of the commercial products like Frizz Control Treatment by Infusium or FrizzEase. . . or the countless others.

i found that if you buy organic, unrefined coconut oil (from a natural hearlth food store- probably in the lotion or skin care section) and put a small amount in your hair before or after blowdrying, it helps A LOT with the frizz

Frizz can be caused by static electricity which can be made worse by dry hair. I have straight hair and a good friend of mine has very curly hair and we both use Garnier Fructis Style Smoothing Milk. The Chi is a little pricy ($150) but you can find them cheap on ebay. Always use a good wide tooth comb instead of a brush. To keep it curly comb it when wet and apply a good leave in conditioning balm and mouse.
